Saplings, bird boxes and a rescued May bug
Another very successful volunteer session, and many thanks to everyone who worked so hard despite the unseasonably warm weather.
We planted a couple of saplings, put up two more sponsored bird boxes, strimmed and trimmed the footpath by Quarry Brow, and emptied one of the outgoing containers ready for it to move to its new home.
We even found time to rescue and rehome a cockchafer (May bug)! Grateful thanks to everyone who took part.
