Celebrating 11 Years of Green Flag Success!

We’re thrilled to announce that Maes-y-Pant has once again been awarded a Green Flag Community Award – making this our 11th year in a row!

The Green Flag Community Award is a nationally recognised mark of quality for parks and green spaces looked after by community groups. It’s something we’re incredibly proud of because it isn’t easy to achieve. Every year, the site is inspected against a range of strict standards, from how it’s managed and maintained to how well it supports wildlife and welcomes visitors.

Receiving the award for 11 consecutive years is a fantastic achievement and reflects the dedication of our amazing volunteers. Throughout the year, they give up their time to look after the woodland, maintain paths, care for habitats, organise activities and keep Maes-y-Pant looking its best. Their hard work is what makes this award possible.

Maes-y-Pant is a special place for so many people. Whether you’re out for a walk, enjoying the wildlife, spending time with family or simply taking a break in nature, we’re proud to provide a green space that everyone can enjoy.

A huge thank you goes to every volunteer and supporter who has helped us along the way. Your commitment and enthusiasm make a real difference, and this award is something we can all celebrate together.

As always, we’ll be proudly flying our Green Flag over Maes-y-Pant for the year ahead – whatever the weather! We hope you’ll join us in celebrating another fantastic milestone, and here’s to many more years of caring for this wonderful community woodland together.
