Blue Skies Return for February’s Path and Pond Clean-Up

After a week of near-constant rain, our February volunteers were treated to blue skies and sunshine for this month’s session, making for much more pleasant conditions than expected.

The team focused on clearing mud that had built up on several of the paths, and took the opportunity to remove some of the excess weed from the pond alongside other routine maintenance tasks.

Volunteers also carried out preparation work to improve access ready for planned drainage works around the pond, which will shortly be carried out by contractors.

As ever, the chocolate chip cookies went down a treat afterwards! Thank you to everyone who came along and helped out.
