A donated bench and a bird box health check
We managed to avoid the rain that had been forecast, and had a very enjoyable session.
We sited a kindly donated bench, repaired more steps using the harder-wearing Plasteco wood, and checked and cleaned out all eight of the sponsored bird boxes put up last spring.
We were delighted to find that five of them had been used and four had nests inside! They’re all now ready for this year’s nesting season. Many thanks, as always, to our volunteers for their hard work.
