Proud moment for our young volunteers and their families
We’re delighted to share some wonderful news celebrating six of our young volunteers, who have all been presented with Duke of Edinburgh Awards.
The six started out completing their D of E award with us at Maes y Pant, and enjoyed it so much that they stayed on afterwards as much-loved and much-appreciated volunteers. The boys, pupils from All Saints School in Gresford, The Rofft School in Marford and Darland School, have turned out to help us in all weathers, turning their hand to almost every job going.
Our trustees and the boys’ parents are rightly very proud, and the fact that all six earned this national award says a great deal about their character. Diolch yn fawr – thank you to everyone involved for such a proud moment for Maes y Pant.
