New faces help with apples, steps and signage
We enjoyed our volunteer session and it was great to see some new faces alongside familiar ones.
We picked lots more apples, strimmed the wildflowers next to the children’s play area to encourage more growth next year, carried out further work on the car park garden, and mended two broken steps.
We finally dug out enough old concrete to set up the post for the new sign by Stan, and even managed to get our drinks and cakes in before the rain started! Thanks to everyone, as always.
