Play area reopened! Two thousand litres of bark spread, around twenty trees planted and the viewpoint path improved.
A really successful volunteer session this morning! The main task was getting 2,000 litres of play bark down to the play area and spread — and we did it. That means the play area is safe again, so we’ve been able to reopen it.
We also planted around twenty trees, improved the footpath to the viewpoint and strimmed the wildflower meadow around the play area. Grateful thanks to everyone who came along.
